As if in the heart of the desert, dunes rise from sun-blackened plateaus and lush green wadis wind their way between mountains. Dirt villages hide their palm groves in the hollows of the valleys. It’s a magnificent desert where nature bursts forth in an enchantment of color. Rugged ochre mountains tower over lush oases. Dark stone plateaus give way to blond dunes that stretch to the south.
