Each region has its own unique charms.
With its sunny coastline bordered by the waters of the Mediterranean, northern Morocco represents a real crossroads. Travellers will love the typically Mediterranean and beautiful north coast which sits between Europe and Africa.
The mysterious and impressive western coastline extends over 3500 km along the Atlantic and contains countless beaches. This area is dotted with historic ports, fishing villages and iconic cities that have all shaped its history.
Elsewhere, Morocco is also a mountainous country. Standing proud in a parallel line to the east of the Atlas Mountains looms the Anti-Atlas mountain range. These mountains comprising peaks, green valleys and small villages are lower than the neighbouring High Atlas. To the east and south, mountainous slopes slide down to meet the sand dunes at the edge of the desert. Welcome to the Sahara: the world’s biggest desert covering Morocco’s Great South and extending beyond the Egyptian border. Visitors wanting to see for themselves how the local nomads live in this extraordinary landscape with its unforgiving climate can take part in a variety of unique excursions and stays.
Finally, there are the imperial cities that have shaped Morocco’s history over the centuries and made it famous around the world. Visitors to these four cities with priceless heritage can also enjoy the surrounding areas.
